This smoothie bowl is perfect for breakfast, a snack or even a light dinner. The great thing about smoothie bowls is that they give you a wide range of nutrients in one quick easy meal – plus they are much quicker to eat than a big bowl of fruit and veg.
Smoothie bowls are popular for a good reason. But, why eat a smoothie instead of drink it you ask? When you gulp a smoothie down it doesn’t get a chance to be properly digested, but when you slowly spoon it, all your digestive juices and processes get a chance to kick in.
Recipe
Ingredients:
- ♡ 50g frozen red berries
- ♡ 1/2 banana
- ♡ 1/2 avocado
- ♡ 1tsp Forest Whole Food’s Organic Ground Linseed
- ♡ 1tsp Forest Whole Food’s Organic Chia Seed
- ♡ 1tbsp Forest Whole Food’s Organic Maca Powder
- ♡ 150ml Coconut milk (optional)
Method:
- Put all the ingredients into a blender and mix them until smooth.
- Decorate with fresh fruits, Organic Raw Cacao Nibs, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Organic Toasted Coconut Chips, Organic Desiccated Coconut.
