Frutteto means ‘orchard’ in Italian as it is in the Tuscan hills near Florence that these healthy jams are made. Handpicked, fully ripe, organic strawberries are sourced mainly from local orchards. Of artisan quality, Frutteto Italia Organic Strawberry Jam is cooked gently at low temperature, in small batches to preserve the fresh strawberry flavour, vitamins, minerals, fibre content and aroma. Unlike the traditional way of cooking jams and conserves, which can destroy the goodness with harsh heat.
Fresh strawberries boast so many nutritional virtues: highly antioxidant with more vitamin C than citrus fruits (just 5 strawberries match an orange), also high in potassium, folate (vitamin B9) and manganese. All the fruit used is certified organic and is rigorously tested to ensure there are no residues of pesticides or of PFAS ‘forever’ chemicals.
Ingredients: 28 organic strawberries, organic grape juice concentrate, organic lemon juice, gelling agent: fruit pectin. *Organic. Made with 100g of strawberries per 100g of fruit spread. Contains naturally occurring sugars from fruit only.
