Fenugreek aka ‘Methi’ is a plant native to Asia and the Mediterranean. Ground Fenugreek is produced by grinding its golden seeds. The flavour can be described as having a hint of maple syrup with a slight bitter after taste. When combined with other Indian spices such as turmeric, cumin and garam masala it transforms and produces a depth of flavour and a subtle sweetness.
