Liquorice root sticks come from the root of the liquorice plant (Glycyrrhiza glabra), part of the bean family and native to Southern Europe and the Middle East.

These sticks can be used in a variety of ways. You can chop them into chunks and add to tea and desserts for a natural sweet, liquorice flavour. They can also be chewed in root form.
