Description

Organic Maple Syrup Grade A

Our organic maple syrup is dark and robust in flavour, produced from maple tree sap towards the latter end of the season.

The maple season begins when the temperature rises above freezing during the day and drops below freezing at night. Syrup produced from sap at this stage is light in colour and delicate in taste. As the season progresses, the sap becomes  darker and stronger in flavour. At the end of the season new leaves start to form and this this results in a strong flavour and a syrup that is no longer palatable.

Our syrup has a dark colour with a wholesome maple flavour, yet the density and clarity are the same as the lighter grades. This is a versatile syrup that goes well on pancakes and many other recipes.

This product is packed in a metal pail with pouring nozzle.

  1. Sweeten Breakfast Naturally: Drizzle it over crepes, waffles, or oatmeal instead of processed syrups. It’s a simple way to cut out artificial sweeteners.
  2. Upgrade Your Coffee & Tea: Skip the sugar and stir in a teaspoon of maple syrup for a smooth, caramel-like sweetness. Works great in lattes too.
  3. Healthier Baking Swap: Replace white sugar with maple syrup in cookies, muffins, or homemade granola. Use ¾ cup of maple syrup for every 1 cup of sugar and reduce liquids slightly.
  4. Glaze Everything: Brush it over roasted carrots, sweet potatoes, or even salmon for a light, natural glaze that enhances flavors without overpowering them.
  5. Boost Homemade Dressings: A dash of maple syrup balances out tangy vinaigrettes, mustard dressings, or marinades for a subtle sweetness.
  6. Kid-Friendly Yogurt Mix-In: Stir a small spoonful into plain Greek yogurt with fresh berries for a naturally sweetened, protein-packed snack.
  7. Better-for-You Ice Cream Topping: Instead of chocolate syrup, drizzle a little over vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.
  8. Perfect Popcorn Flavour: Mix melted butter with a tiny bit of maple syrup and drizzle over freshly popped popcorn for a sweet-and-salty snack.
