Description

Organic Roasted Cacao Nibs contain over 300 active substances

Organic Roasted Cacao Nibs contain over 300 active substances, including phenyl, ethylamine and serotine. Cacao beans are the raw base for chocolate manufacture and originating from the tropical climates in South America. The Theobroma cacao tree is sacred amongst the Mayans and Aztecs. Organic roasted cacao nibs contain a variety of antioxidants and other nutrients. Harvested by hand as pods, the raw beans are selected for the finest quality and fermented to reduce their initial bitterness. After cleaning the dried beans in natural water, they are peeled and their core extracted to be broken into “nibs”. The production process fully preserves the nutritional value of the cacao without any additives.

These nibs are less bitter, so you may need less sweetener when creating your culinary creations. Cacao nibs can add a punch of chocolatey bitterness to recipes that use chocolate in other forms. We also stock organic raw chocolate cacao nibs

Family Tip

  1. We love making dairy free chocolate treats – banana chocolate mousse full of avocado, fresh banana and naturally good cacao powder is great for your conscience.
  2. If you love chocolate cake then this is the best choice to flavour your recipes – simply blend your nibs to a powder and use them in the place of traditional cocoa.
