Premium Organic Wheat Bran

Organic Wheat Bran is the outermost layer of the grain that is typically removed when it is processed. Yet, it is rich in many minerals such as zinc and copper and a great source of fibre. It is obtained by sifting cleaned and milled wheat to produce a nutty, light golden brown flake.

It can be used alongside breadcrumbs to make breading batter for meat and fish, as a topping mix for cereals, smoothie bowls and yogurt, and to add a crunchy texture and nutty flavour to many baked goods. It’s low in fat, which is great if you’re watching your calories.

Is stoneground bran and wheat bran the same? Not really. Wheat bran is the coarse outer layer of wheat, rich in fibre. It’s less processed and better for digestion and heart health than other brans, such as organic stoneground fine bran.
