Organic mulberries are a true delight.

These Organic mulberries are a delicious and nutritious dried fruit to snack on when you want a change from dates and figs.  They taste like chewy toffee or caramel, so they make a great healthy treat. Chinese herbal medicine has used mulberries for centuries and  the trees were traditionally grown for their leaves.

They are pure and unprocessed. Once they are hand-picked they are simply dried in the shade and then packed up carefully to retain their freshness. We only discovered these recently and they have quickly become the teams favourite dried fruit, if you haven’t tried them before then they are definitely worth a try – but be aware they are addictive! They’re also great for cooking; Add them to pies, jellies, compotes, jams, or desserts.

Storage

For optimum freshness, store mulberries in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep them in an airtight container or a tightly sealed bag to maintain their natural flavour and texture while preventing excess moisture buildup.

Want to make them last even longer? Freeze them for extended storage or turn them into homemade jams and jellies for a rich, fruity spread. You can also macerate them to enhance their sweetness and make them even more delicious.
