  • Use 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of cacao bean powder per person.
  • Mix cacao powder with one cup of your favourite plant milk, and start whisking well, ensuring cacao powder is well blended in. Keep on a very low heat for around 5 minutes, so the real chocolate flavour can develop.
  • Towards the end, add one teaspoon of any liquid sweetener, like agave or maple. Your real hot chocolate is now ready to drink.
  • Optional: Mix half a teaspoon of tapioca flour with a splash of water, ensuring there are no lumps. Slowly pour this to hot chocolate and continue boiling till it thickens up a bit.
